Description of obverse

In the center is a profile portrait of Emperor Nicholas II. On the left is the inscription "B.M. NICHOLAS II EMPEROR ", on the right -" AND THE AUTOCHOR OF ALL RUSSIA. " Along the edge of the edging, there are relief elements made in the form of teeth.

Description of reverse

In the center is the Small State Emblem of the Russian Empire - a two-headed eagle, whose heads are crowned with two crowns, the third, a large crown above them. All of them are connected with the ribbon of the Order of St. Andrew the First-Called. On the eagle`s chest is the Moscow coat of arms - a shield with the image of George the Victorious with a spear, slaying the dragon. Around the shield is the chain of the Order of St. Andrew the First-Called Apostle. On the wings are the coats of arms: the Kingdoms of Kazan, Poland, Tauride Chersonesos, Astrakhan, Siberian, Georgian and the coat of arms of the united principalities of Kiev, Novgorod and Vladimir - 4 for each wing. In the right paw of the eagle there is a scepter, in the left - orb. The coin was made in 1898. There are relief elements made in the form of teeth around the edge.
