Civil War Starr 1858 D/A .44 6" Revolver (C) 21592
Civil War! Star 1858 Double Action .44 6" Revolver in very good condition with wear and remnants of oxidation. The bore has some rust bot the action seems fully functional. The frame has about 50% of the finish remaining. The walnut grips are very good. A classic Civil War period pistol. One of the main favorite large frame revolvers of the Civil War. A favorite of both Confederate and Union soldiers during the Civil War. Many Civil War soldiers and officers carried private purchase “back up” weapons as illustrated in the photos. This large frame revolver was a favorite of mounted cavalry soldiers.
