Silver Pendant for Hanging on a Bottle - Souvenir from the Visit of the Rebbe of Satmar the "Berach Moshe" in the Land of Israel - 1994 - Extremely Rare
A silver pendant for hanging on a wine bottle. The pendant was made in an extremely limited number of copies and the Rebbe gave it to the wealthy men who had accompanied him on his visit, who had donated large sums of money to his institutions in Jerusalem.
A Jerusalem-shaped pendant (typical houses) with palm trees on the sides and above them a majestic crown. Under the crown, an engraved Hebrew inscription: "Souvenir from the visit of the Rebbe of Satmar Shalita". On the lower part of the pendant, an engraved inscription: "28th of Sivan 5754, Jerusalem".
The Rebbe, Rabbi Moshe Teitelbaum of Satmar (1915-2006) served at first as a rabbi and Rebbe of Siget, Hungary (he replaced hi sfather, the Rebbe Rabbi Chaim Zvi Teitelbaum, author of "Atzei Chaim"). In 1979, after hi suncle's death, the Rebbe, Rabbi Yoel of Satmar, he became th eRebbe of Satmar.
