Ha'Zohar Ha'Kadosh. Two volumes. Printed in Krotoszyn ("like Amsterdam"). 1844-1845.
On the title pages on the books and on additional leaves, different stamps of the Rebbe of Novominsk, Rabbi Alter Yisrael Shimon Perlow.
The Rebbe of Novominsk (1874-1933) was the eldest son of the Rebbe rabbi Ya'akov Perlow. After his marriage to the daughter of Rabbi Baruch Meir of Azernitz, he became head of the yeshiva founded by his father. In 1902, when he was 28, his father died and he replaced him as Rebbe. During World War I, he moved to Warsaw and continued leading his community. He was known for his Torah wisdom and piety. Corresponded with the most prominent rabbis of Poland.
