Artist's info: Germ. Painter, graphic artist and illustrator (1869 Langemüß to 1960 Beuerberg), pupil at the Nuremberg School of Art, then at the Berlin School of Arts and Crafts and 1890-93 studies at the Berlin Academy, among others with Josef Scheurenberg, undertook study trips through Germany, Italy and a longer stay in Paris, temporarily collaborator of the Munich "Jugend", attended the exhibitions of the Glaspalast and 1937-44 the Great German Art Exhibitions in the House of German Art in Munich, 1944 included in the "Gottbegnadeten-Liste", member of the Munich association Luitpoldgruppe, the Reichsverband Bildender Künstler Deutschlands, the Allgemeine Deutsche Kunstgenossenschaft, the Freie Künstlervereinigung Baden, the Künstlerbund Bayern and member of the board of the Bund zeichnender Künstler Münchens, worked in Langemüß and from 1897 in Munich-Gern, Source: Thieme-Becker, Dressler and Wikipedia.
