Thompson, dark patinated bronze, female nude bathing, the legs covered by a cloth, on a naturalistic plinth, mounted on a high marble base with bevelled upper corners, the base with a small chip, otherwise in good condition according to age, h bronze 17 cm, h total 27 cm. Artist information: American sculptor, painter and writer (1861-1950), little is known about her career, but she exhibited various works in Pennsylvania and Massachusetts.
