knorriger Baum mit spärlichen Trieben, am Weg mit Bauern und Packesel in gebirgiger Landschaft, lavierte Tuschezeichnung in Schwarz und Sepia auf Büttenkarton, 2. Hälfte 18. Jh., unten signiert "J. P. Hackert del.", rückseitig diverse Annotationen und Sammlerstempel, hinter Glas und Passepartout gerahmt, Blattmaße ca. 42 x 27 cm. Künstlerinfo: dt. Portrait-, Prospekt- und Landschaftsmaler sowie Kopist und Zeichner (1737 Prenzlau bis 1807 San Piero di Careggio bei Florenz), bedeutender Vertreter der Landschaftsmalerei des Klassizismus, Schüler seines Vaters, des Malers Philipp Hackert und seines Onkels, eines Berliner Dekorationsmalers, studierte ab 1758 an der Berliner Akademie, trat 1761 mit Veduten an die Öffentlichkeit, welche die Aufmerksamkeit des schwedischen Regierungsrates Adolf Friedrich von Olthof erweckten, dieser lud den Künstler nach Stralsund, Rügen und Stockholm ein, wo Hackert Wandmalereien in dessen Stadthaus und Landsitz, dem Gutshaus Boldevitz ausführte, 1765-68 Aufenthalt in Paris, hier Förderung durch Johann Georg Wille und Claude Joseph Vernet, unternahm anschließend Studienreise in die Normandie und die Picardie, 1768 Übersiedlung mit seinem Bruder Georg Abraham Hackert (1755-1805) nach Italien, bereiste neben Stationen in Rom und Neapel ganz Italien, erwarb sich in Italien den Ruf eines bedeutenden Landschaftsmalers und stand zeitweise als Hofmaler im Dienste Ferdinando Antonio Pasquale Giovanni Nepomuceno Serafino Gennaro Benedetto von Bourbon, als König von Neapel Ferdinand IV., der ihm in Caserta eine Villa zur Verfügung stellte, hier 1786 Bekanntschaft mit Johann Wolfgang von Goethe, der Zeichenunterricht bei Hackert nahm, um 1803 wegen Unruhen Flucht über Livorno und Pisa nach San Piero di Careggio bei Florenz, hier Erwerb eines Landgutes, 1806 bat Goethe um Hackerts biographische Daten und veröffentlichte posthum 1811 dessen Biographie, Quelle: Thieme-Becker, Saur "Bio-Bibliographisches Künstlerlexikon", Allgemeine Deutsche Biographie und Wikipedia.
