Die heilige Anna mit Maria
innige Szene mit Anna und der jungen, im Buch lesenden Mutter von Christus, Maria, auf ihrem Schoß, nur durch einen dezenten Heiligenschein der Dargestellten wird diese augenscheinlich familiäre Szene zum Heiligenbildnis, minimal pastose Malerei mit gekonnter Behandlung des Lichts, Öl auf Holztafel und Rückseite mit grobem Gewebe verfestigt, 17./18. Jh., farbschwundrissig, verzogen und Rissbildung im Malträger, restaurierungsbedürftig, gerahmt, Falzmaße ca. 44 x 35,5 cm.

Intimate scene with Anne and the young mother of Christ, Mary, reading in a book, on her lap, only a discreet halo of the sitter turns this apparently familiar scene into a portrait of a saint, minimally impasto painting with skilful treatment of the light, oil on wooden panel and reverse reinforced with coarse fabric, 17th/18th century, colour fading, warped and cracks in the painting support, in need of restoration, framed, rebate dimensions approx. 44 x 35.5 cm.
