Darstellung der 12. von 15 Szenen, in welcher Jesus am Kreuz stirbt, während sich eine allgemeine Finsternis ausbreitet, links vom Kreuz die trauernde Mutter Maria mit Johannes und Maria Magdalena, rechts Christus verhöhnende römische Soldaten, unter der Darstellung weißes Schriftfeld mit Schriftzug "Jesus stirbt am Kreuze", fein lasierende religiöse Genremalerei in der Tradition der Nazarener, Öl auf Leinwand, 2. Hälfte 19. Jh., unsigniert, minimale Altersspuren, schön in Goldleiste gerahmt, Pendant zur vorhergehenden Position, Falzmaße ca. 87 x 60,5 cm.

Depiction of the 12th of 15 scenes in which Jesus dies on the cross while a general darkness spreads, to the left of the cross the mourning mother Mary with John and Mary Magdalene, to the right Roman soldiers mocking Christ, below the depiction a white inscription field with the inscription "Jesus dies on the cross", finely glazed religious genre painting in the tradition of the Nazarenes, oil on canvas, 2nd half 19th cent, unsigned, minimal traces of age, beautifully framed in gold moulding, pendant to the previous item, folded dimensions approx. 87 x 60.5 cm.
