stark abstrahierte Figuren vor changierendem Grund, Farbradierung auf Velin, unter der Darstellung in Blei rechts signiert und datiert "Mac Zimmermann (19)72", links unten nummeriert "2/100", hinter Glas gerahmt, Darstellungsmaße ca. 39,3 x 49,7 cm. Künstlerinfo: eigentlich Heinz Hans Oskar Zimmermann, dt. Maler und Grafiker (1912 Stettin bis 1995 Wasserburg am Inn), 1930-31 Studium an der Stettiner Werkschule für gestaltende Arbeit, 1934 Umzug nach Hamburg, ab 1939 in Berlin tätig, 1943 Ausschluss aus der Reichskulturkammer, 1946 Ausstellung in der Galerie Gerd Rosen, kurzzeitige Lehrtätigkeit in Weimar, 1950 zusammen mit Karl Hofer, Karl Schmidt-Rottluff, Ewald Mataré, Willi Baumeister und Karl Hartung Neugründung des „Deutschen Künstlerbundes“, ab 1958 Professor an der Hochschule für Bildende Künste in Berlin, ab 1964 Professor an der Akademie in München, Quelle: Wikipedia und Internet.

Strongly abstracted figures against an iridescent ground, colour etching on wove paper, signed and dated "Mac Zimmermann (19)72" in pencil below the image on the right, numbered "2/100" lower left, framed behind glass, dimensions approx. 39.3 x 49.7 cm. Artist information: actually Heinz Hans Oskar Zimmermann, German painter and graphic artist. Painter and graphic artist (1912 Stettin - 1995 Wasserburg am Inn), 1930-31 studied at the Stettin School of Design, 1934 moved to Hamburg, from 1939 active in Berlin, 1943 expelled from the Reich Chamber of Culture, 1946 exhibition at the Gerd Rosen Gallery, brief teaching activity in Weimar, 1950 together with Karl Hofer, Karl Schmidt-Rottluff, Ewald Mataré, Willi Baumeister and Karl Hartung re-founded the "Deutscher Künstlerbund", from 1958 professor at the Academy of Fine Arts in Berlin, from 1964 professor at the Academy in Munich, source: Wikipedia and Internet.
